Angry Thunder Spins is designed to work seamlessly across a wide range of devices and browsers, but there are minimum requirements that must be met for the platform to function correctly. Before troubleshooting any specific issue, check that your setup meets these specifications.

Older browser versions or unsupported browsers (such as Internet Explorer) are not supported and may result in the game failing to load or displaying incorrectly. Updating your browser to the latest version is always the first troubleshooting step we recommend.

JavaScript: Must be enabled. The game cannot run without JavaScript. To enable JavaScript in Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Site Settings → JavaScript → Allowed. In Firefox: about:config → search "javascript.enabled" → set to true.

Cookies: Must be permitted for angrythunderspins.com. The age gate and cookie preference functions require cookies to store your responses. In most browsers, you can allow cookies for a specific site without allowing them globally.

Screen Resolution: Minimum 360px wide for mobile devices. 1024px wide recommended for desktop. The game adapts responsively to different sizes but performs best on screens within these parameters.

Internet Connection: Any stable broadband connection is sufficient. We recommend at least 5 Mbps download speed for smooth performance, though the game is optimised to work at lower speeds. Highly unstable connections may cause intermittent loading issues.

Operating System: Windows 10+, macOS 11+, iOS 14+, Android 9+. Devices running operating systems older than these may experience issues with browser compatibility.

Detailed Troubleshooting Guides

The Game Won't Load or Gets Stuck

Step 1: Press Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) to perform a hard refresh. This forces the browser to reload all assets from scratch rather than using cached versions.

Step 2: Clear your browser cache. In Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → Cached images and files. In Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Clear Data → Cached Web Content.

Step 3: Check that JavaScript is enabled in your browser settings (see requirements above). Without JavaScript, the game cannot load.

Step 4: Disable any browser extensions temporarily, particularly ad blockers or script blockers. Some of these can interfere with game assets loading correctly. Try loading the game in an Incognito/Private window, which disables most extensions by default.

Step 5: Try a different browser from our supported list. If the game loads in one browser but not another, the issue is browser-specific and updating or reinstalling the affected browser usually resolves it.

Step 6: Check your internet connection. Try loading another website to confirm connectivity. If your connection is unstable, try a different network (e.g., switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data, or vice versa).

Step 1: Check your device volume. This sounds obvious, but it's the cause of most audio issues. Make sure your device isn't on silent or muted, and that the volume is turned up.

Step 2: Check the browser tab volume. In Chrome, right-click the browser tab and look for a speaker icon or mute option. Some browsers allow individual tabs to be muted.

Step 3: Enable autoplay audio for the site. Many browsers block autoplay audio by default. In Chrome: click the padlock icon next to the URL → Site settings → Sound → Allow. In Firefox: the browser may display a prompt in the address bar — click to allow audio.

Step 4: Try interacting with the game first (clicking the spin button) before expecting audio to play. Some browsers require a user interaction before allowing a page to play sounds for the first time.

Step 5: Check if the issue occurs in a different browser. If audio works in one browser but not another, the problem is browser-specific. Try updating the affected browser or switching to an alternative.

Game Freezes or Crashes Mid-Session

Step 1: Refresh the page (F5 or Ctrl+R / Cmd+R). In most cases, a frozen game can be resolved with a standard refresh. Your session may reset to the beginning.

Mobile Display Problems

Step 1: Ensure your screen zoom or display size is set to 100%. An inflated zoom level can cause layout elements to overflow or overlap. In your browser settings, look for Zoom and set it to 100% or Default.

Step 2: Try rotating your device. Some display issues are orientation-specific. Switching between portrait and landscape mode can sometimes trigger the browser to re-render the layout correctly.

Step 3: Update your browser app and device operating system. Outdated software is the most common cause of display inconsistencies on mobile devices.

Step 4: Try a different mobile browser. If you're using Samsung Internet and experiencing issues, try Chrome for Android or Firefox for Android, and vice versa.

Step 5: If your screen is narrower than 360px, some layout elements may not display as intended. We recommend the platform for devices with screens of at least 360px in width.
