Community Guidelines

The storm is dramatic on screen — in our community, we channel that energy into respect, enthusiasm, and genuine connection. These guidelines define what that looks like in practice.

Why These Guidelines Exist

The Angry Thunder Spins Community Hub exists because great entertainment becomes even better when it's shared. But shared spaces only thrive when everyone inside them commits to a basic set of principles that protect and elevate the experience for all participants.

These Community Guidelines are not a list of arbitrary restrictions. Each rule here exists because we've thought carefully about what makes an online community genuinely worth being part of — and what kinds of behaviours, left unchecked, can erode that value entirely. We ask you to read this document fully before participating in any community spaces on our platform.

By participating in the Angry Thunder Spins community, you agree to abide by these guidelines. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension from community spaces, or permanent removal from the platform, depending on the severity and frequency of the conduct in question. Our moderation team applies these rules consistently and fairly.

Last reviewed: March 2026. These guidelines apply to all community spaces operated by Angry Thunder Spins, including forums, discussion threads, comment sections, and any other interactive features on the platform.

The Rules

Our Community Standards

1 Respect Every Person

Every member of this community is a real person deserving of basic human dignity. We do not tolerate personal attacks, insults, or any form of harassment directed at individual community members. This includes but is not limited to: name-calling, targeted mockery, threats of any kind, and sustained unwanted contact with another member.

Disagreements are natural and expected in any community. You are welcome to disagree with someone's opinion about game mechanics, mythology, or anything else discussed on the platform. Do so by addressing the idea, not the person. Critique the argument, not the individual making it. This distinction is not a technicality — it is the foundation of respectful discourse.

2 No Discrimination or Hate Speech

Content that demeans, threatens, or expresses hatred toward individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic is strictly prohibited. This applies to explicit hate speech, coded language, "jokes" that rely on harmful stereotypes, and any other content that a reasonable person would identify as discriminatory.

Angry Thunder Spins is a platform for all eligible Canadian adults, regardless of background. Our community reflects that diversity, and we protect it actively.

3 Keep Content Relevant and Appropriate

Posts and contributions should be relevant to the context of the thread or space where they appear. Off-topic posts disrupt the flow of discussion for everyone. If you have something to say that doesn't fit the current thread, find a more appropriate space or start a new discussion.

Explicit or graphic content of a sexual or violent nature is not permitted in any community space. Content that would be inappropriate for the general adult public has no place here, regardless of how it is framed or contextualised.

4 No Spam or Unsolicited Promotion

Spam — defined as repetitive, low-quality, or irrelevant content posted at high volume — is not permitted. This includes posting the same message multiple times, flooding threads with low-effort content, and any form of automated posting.

Unsolicited promotion of any kind is also prohibited. Do not use community spaces to advertise external products, services, websites, or platforms without explicit permission from the moderation team. This includes affiliate links, referral codes, and promotional content disguised as genuine discussion.

5 Be Honest and Authentic

Don't misrepresent yourself or your experiences. Don't spread false information about the platform, the game, or other community members. Don't create multiple accounts to manipulate votes, discussions, or any other community mechanism.

Our community is valuable because it's real. Authentic voices, genuine experiences, and honest discussion are what make it worth showing up for. Deception in any form undermines that value and will be treated accordingly.

6 Protect Others' Privacy

Do not share the personal information of other community members without their explicit consent. This includes real names, locations, contact details, photographs, or any other information that could be used to identify or locate a real person.

This rule applies even to information that may seem innocuous on its own. Privacy is a right that we take seriously, and any attempt to expose or exploit another member's personal information will be treated as a serious violation.

7 Support Responsible Play

The Angry Thunder Spins community actively champions responsible play. Do not mock, dismiss, or discourage fellow members who express concerns about their play habits. Do not pressure others to play more or for longer than they're comfortable with. Do not frame arcade entertainment as a path to any kind of external reward or goal.

If a community member expresses distress about their relationship with the platform, respond with compassion and direct them to our Responsible Play resources. Taking care of each other is part of what makes this community genuinely good.

8 Follow Moderator Direction

Our moderation team works to keep community spaces healthy, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. When a moderator issues a direction — whether that's a request to stay on topic, a warning about conduct, or an instruction to stop a particular line of discussion — comply promptly and respectfully.

If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, contact us through the Contact page to raise the matter through proper channels. Do not argue with moderators publicly in community spaces. Appeals are handled privately and impartially.

9 Age Requirements Apply Everywhere

All participants in community spaces must be Canadian adults aged 19 or older, in accordance with the platform's general eligibility requirements. Do not attempt to help anyone under the age of 19 access or participate in the platform or its community. If you become aware of an underage individual using the platform, report it to our team immediately through the Contact page.

This requirement exists for good reasons and is non-negotiable. Our responsibility to protect younger people from adult-oriented entertainment is something we take very seriously.

10 Violations and Consequences

Violations of these guidelines are handled on a case-by-case basis. Minor first offences typically result in a moderator warning. Repeated minor violations or single serious violations may result in a temporary suspension from community spaces. Severe violations — including hate speech, harassment campaigns, and deliberate privacy breaches — may result in immediate and permanent removal from the platform.

All moderation decisions are made in good faith, with the health of the community as the primary consideration. We do not seek to exclude people — we seek to protect the space that everyone shares. Help us keep it worth protecting by holding yourself to these standards every time you participate.
